Mini-Symposium: Linking Neural Development, Human Disease, and Evolution

We are excited to invite you to a full day of scientific exchange at the Mini-Symposium “Linking Neural Development, Human Disease and Evolution”, organized by Sophie Chauvet and Baptiste Libé-Philippot (IBDM/CNRS/amU).

This event will bring together leading researchers to explore how neural development intersects with human pathology and evolutionary biology. From Schwann cell reprogramming and purine metabolism in autism to the evolutionary trajectory of human synapses, the talks will cover a wide range of cutting-edge topics.

  • 9:00 – 10:00: Tutored seminar by Franck Polleux (for NeuroSchool PhD students – registration required)
  • 10:00 – 13:30: Talks by Sophie Chauvet, François Féron, Fabrice Ango, Vincent Cantagrel, Fekrije Selimi, and Franck Polleux
  • 13:30: Lunch
  • 14:30: Presentation by Baptiste Libé-Philippot
  • 15:15 – 17:00: HDR evaluation of Baptiste Libé-Philippot
