The ATIP-Avenir programme, launched as a partnership between Inserm and CNRS Biology, aims to provide young researchers with the opportunity to establish and lead their own teams within French laboratories. By supporting new, independent research projects, the programme strengthens scientific dynamism in the life sciences and health sectors, while promoting scientific mobility and attracting talented individuals to French research institutions.
Julia Schaeffer, who recently joined the IBDM, is a laureate of the programme. As head of the “Local Translation in Axon Regeneration” team, she aims to improve our understanding of the mechanisms of neuronal regeneration, a key issue for the repair of the nervous system.
Congratulations to Julia Schaeffer on this achievement!
