Biography

Fanny Mann is a neurobiologist and research director at the CNRS.

Her academic journey began with a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Lyon, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cambridge in the UK. Upon her return to France, Fanny embarked on an independent research career focused on unravelling the intricate molecular mechanisms that govern the development of neural circuits.

In 2012, she established her own research team at the IBDM. More recently, her research group has undergone an exciting thematic shift, turning its attention to exploring the fascinating field of neuroplasticity induced by tumour development and its profound implications for cancer progression.
