The engineer will work on molecular engineering in Drosophila and confocal microscopy. She will work under the supervision of Jean-Marc PHILIPPE, Research Engineer in Thomas LECUIT’s team, as well as other researchers.

Activities:

The engineer will have to carry out a range of molecular biology techniques: plasmid construction, genomic PCR, HRM analyses, etc.

He/she will perform imaging on living tissue using confocal microscopy.

He/she will draw up a workbook, communicate experimental data and participate in the development of new protocols.

He/she will manage and organise technical resources as part of the scientific project
Skills:
The candidate will have a practical knowledge of the laboratory, in particular Molecular Biology; a good theoretical knowledge of Biology and a solid knowledge of Molecular Biology.
